Recently I gave Dead End Gene Pool to my friend Lisa and she said it is great. We love the same books so it is top of my list right now. Wendy Burden is a Vanderbilt and she writes about her illustrious family, childhood and crazy life. In this same vein I recommend Tad Friend’s Cheerful Money: Me, My Family and The Last Days of WASP Splendor (a story very close to home). Enjoy!
