Keeping it Real

I’m not ready to talk about the fall collections yet. (I can’t wrap my head around certain ideas–football shoulder pads at Stella? and find some of the rest bland.)

My favorite off-runway moment, though is this picture of model Natalia Vodianova with her kids. She’s not pushing any of the latest trends–wearing stripes and plaids and fur, or five different fluorescent shades at once. She’s in a Stella McCartney top from last fall (which I wish I had bought now) and flat boots. Ok, her skirt is 5 inches shorter than I could get away with but she looks easy and uncontrived. Love it.
