What’s black, white and red?
I love Calder’s work and when I read yesterday in the New York Times that Pace Gallery on East 57th is holding a show that features never-before seen works starting tomorrow, I immediately put it in my agenda. There is something expansive and optimistic and winsome about his work that I appreciate. Plus it’s from that modernist era of the 50′s and 60′s which I love. (I am a woman who dreams of living in a Case Study house in California, but resides in a Georgian colonial. Someday.)
And, while I put a Calder on a completely different pedestal than I do an outfit, another black, white and red moment that I liked, which is equally as optimistic and very 60′s, are the pictures T Magazine ran on Kirsten Dunst over the weekend. The sweater is by The Row, coat by Carven. A perfect gallery-hoping outfit.

Love the look, but did Kirsten forget her bottoms? Also, yours is truly one of the best looking and hip websites out there. Congratulations. Wonderful work!
thanks for the Calder rec., can’t wait to check it out. I love your blog.
