Jennifer & Preston’s gift guide
What do we really want for Christmas this year? And what are we actually going to give? We hope our families don’t pay too much attention to this post (except perhaps our husbands, hint, hint), because this list is the real deal.
We hope you’ll find something inspired!

Jennifer’s List
To give my girls: Colorful Nike basketball shoes to wear everyday for my 10-year-old. My 12-year-old likes to make things, so a matchstick Eiffel Tower to remind her of our Thanksgiving trip to Paris.
For my friends: Connor stationery scratch pad sets (three to a set). So chic, yet so practical. Instead of the usual candle.
For the family: grandmothers and aunts: A colorful cashmere sweater from the Japanese store, Uniqlo. They come in fun colors and are under $100. I bought a red v-neck to wear while opening presents on Christmas.
From Santa: A classic Chanel bag, in black or beige with silver hardware. A have forever that I don’t own yet.
From my husband: A piece of jewelry, something very nice but not super major. Am thinking of a Repossi Berbère ring from Barneys.
Preston’s List
To give my girls: I want to give pretty presents this year. The Vintage Classics paperback edition of Jane Austen’s novels and fair isle sweaters from Brooks Brothers (designed by KiC Style Setter and last year’s fab girls and boys gift guides guest editor Nikki Kule) will be under the tree.
For my friends: Jennifer and I popped into Privet House in Greenwich and I spied these bowls- they are the perfect hostess gift.
From Santa: I have wanted this Carver’s Guild mirror forever and have the perfect spot waiting for it. Meg Braff Interiors carries the Gothic Twig style.
From my husband: An Hermes Collier de Chien would be easy ( I already have it on order…)
For ourselves: We each bought a Clarisonic skin care brush and love it. I am copying Jennifer and will be wearing red Christmas morning. I found this super cute corduroy dress by Kayce Hughes, a loyal KiC friend.
Topics: Chanel, Clarisonic, Collier de Chien, Hermes, Nike
