Fave new non-It bag

I am not much for the buying into the bag of the moment, instead I look for ones that will look good years down the road (when they get as pricey as they are these days, you kind of have to). Because of this, it usually takes me a season before I decide that a recent design is worth investing in. My latest favorite bag I’m considering? The Fendi Chameleon (the top bag above, and also below from our shop). It is a classic shape, roomy enough to carry everything and with just enough hardware to give it some oomph. I particularly like it in white for spring.

  2. I have a hard time thinking of a white bag as an investment. Nude, yes. But white bags are like straw bags, fun, in the moment, and not meant to last.

  3. I love this bag especially in color blocked styles with multiple leathers and materials. My Mother had a Bally bag in the 80′s that has a similar shape that she used when she travelled, it was black, with burgundy piping. Definitely not an “it” bag but a forever bag!
