Gucci Girl

Hands down, Gucci’s Fall ad campaign, ‘Forever Now’ with Charlotte Casiraghi, is my favorite. Inez and Vinoodh shot the stunning black and white images styled with a mid 50’s/beatnik sensibility. I have not bought anything from Gucci in quite some time, but the horse-bit loafers are looking pretty good again.

  • Love those loafers! I bought them in WINE and they are perfection. Thank you for your wonderful posts. I am a new fan of your blog. Have recently purchased a vest from Nikki Kule and BB cream by Embryolaise thanks to you!! Appreciate your wisdom!!!

  • Darn. I like everything BUT the loafers. Don’t get me wrong, I like loafers quite a lot, but these just look, well, a little granny to me. They come up a little too high and tend to make the ankles look thicker than they might otherwise.
Love the rest of the pic!

  • I agree with Kelly. I tried them on a couple of weeks ago and just couldn’t do it. Retro and not in a good way, but love the rest of the look.

  • She is such a beauty, I live din Gucci in the 90’s but haven’t looked at it since -my country bumpkin life needs so little.
