It’s good to have L-atitude!

I love to travel and my husband is co-founder of Tablet Hotels, but for some reason, we have not ventured beyond our usual haunts (Martha’s Vineyard, Maine and Palm Beach/Naples Fla.) for some time now. Yes, we went to Paris and L.A., but no far-flung, exotic locales as of late.

One of the best parts of traveling is finding unusual, cannot-buy-at-home items to bring back for myself and friends. Fortunately, there is the fab site L-atitude which offers unique and handmade pieces from all over the world. Alisa Ng, L-atitude’s founder, travels extensively to fill her online shop and we benefit from her far reach and numerous finds.

Thank you L-atitude for including me in your Globe Trotter series!

  • Happy New Year, Preston! I continue to love this site, the profiles, the trends and clothing you highlight. A double bonus today – I just took a look at the fabulous Tablet Hotels site, and am inspired to find a lovely vacation for my family beyond our tried and true venues (which include Palm Beach, too!). Also, L-atitude has some fabulous finds, bochic jewelry to spice up a rather “conservative” pant suit or sheath dress. Looking forward to your continued delightful columns in 2013!
    Cheers, Monica

  • Love your blog! Thank you for introducing me to tablethotels and l’atitude. Fantastic sites! Question: please id the nude tote you are holding in your picture on l’atitude site. It’s a must for my upcoming trips with the whole family.

  • My tote is by Anya Hindmarch and it is fab! Sturdier than most out there so I can load it with papers and laptop.

  • I thought it was Anya! Thank you for confirming it. Why is it so hard to find a beautiful leather tote that is sturdy? Celine shoppers are gorgeous but too fragile. Every other person carries LV and Goyard.
