I have been asked a number of times about a tan tote that I carry. It’s by Anya Hindmarch and it’s on sale at the The Outnet. Black is good too…
While always on the look out for a decent camel/tan bag, this shopper does not do it for me.. I have to be able to hang my bag on my shoulder or it becomes an obstacle during daily runs. Keep yr posts coming Preston..you inspire.

This bag just looks way too big. I don’t love the washed out tan colour either, though it could be the photo. It looks like a massive brown paper bag to me. I love your sandals though!

But I did get the tan/black combo shoulder bag.

As Preston said the other day she writes this post to share not to have her personal choices criticised. Perhaps commentators should ask them selves would I say that to Preston if we were face to face ? and if the answer is no then think it don’t post it !
Preston as a woman on the other side of the world , Melbourne, i delight in all that you share .
My dilemma is how to be chic when it is 40 degrees Celsius day after day and still at work .. I’m holding the fort whilst others are at our version of the Hamptons which we just call ” the beach”.
Perhaps I need to look at the early August late July posts for inspiration.
Preston please don’t listen to the negative but focus on why you re used this photo in the first place, which was so many readers loved the look and wanted the details.
Thank you for being so generous about your life .

Although it does look comfy, I agree with the others….too slouchy/big and I always tend toward a black or black/brown mix.
But you look great!! Soooo enjoy your blog!!! Hugs

The beige is very neutral and works for me. I wanted it big for my laptop, magazines & KiC junk I haul around to meetings and the barn. It’s a tote, not a handbag, and it’s sturdier than many of the shoppers out there and that’s a plus.
I don’t mind if readers dislike items I post on or disagree with my taste, that keeps the conversation lively. As long as the comments are not a personal affront, keep them coming!

Anya Hindmarch makes some really lovely bags. I particularly like this tote because of the two outside pockets. It is simple and elegant, yet it completely works for an all-around tote. Love it.

The first thing I thought when I read the criticisms of the bag was how wonderfully comfortable the readers felt with Preston that they could be honest with her. I am glad Preston reacted the same way. I love the bag and was sad to see it is no longer available. I think of Preston every day when I wear my avaitor shades. I feel like a different person in them and was inspired to get them when I saw her picture. So thank you Preston!

Preston my earlier comments about the bag were not meant to be “negative”, and I’m grateful your further comments indicate you didn’t feel worried about that possibility. I believe fashion and style is so fun and joyful, and a shared experience. Even though I consider I mostly dress for myself, I don’t mind other people having their thoughts, views, opinions. It’s just not possible to like and admire everything on offer! I understand and accept the various possibilities, and I genuinely don’t mind if someone were to comment that they didn’t think they liked what I had on. The things are not ME after all, for goodness sake. And, yes, I also do sometimes offer my own thoughts on another’s something or others. Especially if it’s in a relaxed and warm and friendly environment, like this one you’ve created and offered Preston. I’m in Australia too, and looks like you have fans and followers up and down our land xx.

I love this tote – and I ordered it immediately – luckily before it sold out. I have a celine cabas zip tote – which I also love, but I think this looks more functional – and it is better for days when I need to haul more around. Thank you Preston!
