Chic this Week
The Tory Burch Blog posted on a great new book 75 Parisiennes by French photographer Baudoin. The subjects are shot in their own spaces and are not the usual suspects from our over-exposed fashion world. Refreshing.

Yes, it’s very cold here, so indoor activities are on the agenda this weekend. The NYTs reviewed “The Path of Nature: French Paintings from the Wheelock Whitney Collection, 1785-1850”– I adore landscapes so this show tops my list.

I have been dying to see The Heiress since I read the review on Vogue a few months ago. I am waiting for friends to join me, but the play closes on February 9th, so I may go solo.

Got to see the play in early December and it was quite good. Jessica Chastain was really good and so was the rest of the cast. Worth seeing I think, especially now that Chastain is so hot!
the Heiress – Feb 6th it is!
The book sounds refreshing indeed! Weary of the surgically-altered set and Hollywood lacks true chic any more.
Thanks for showing me the new French book! Can’t wait o see it!
And I would love to go with you to see The Heiress!!! Can’t wait o hear about it! Hugs
Just bought another of your choices in the kic shop! Obviously, I love your taste! Great blog.
This is apropos of nothing! Do you happen to remember a print in navy and brown that looks like a tapestry with pairs of doves in the pattern? I saw it as a tunic under a short brown suede jacket and I can’t place it at all! I loved the outfit and would love to purchase it. You know clothes so well.
I’m a faithful reader of your blog. So many great looks. Keep it up!
Absolutely am dying to see the “heiress”-going to plan a trip in to NYC just for that. If you really are going solo I would love to be your sidekick for the night! Simone
