I love a good chandelier and wish I had gone to the Ralph Lauren show, if only to see the ones above his runway. I have a gilt frond-y Paris flea market find hanging in my kitchen and treasure it. T Mag covers the mini chandelier trend from NY show week.

I really like Net-a-Porter’s new magazine, The Edit. The second issue, out yesterday, covers all things British– just in time for London show week, which starts today. There is a good interview with Artist and film maker, Sam Taylor-Johnson, a woman I admire.

Also in The Edit, a Q&A with style icon, Alexa Chung, on her favorite British designers.

And finally, Cathy Horyn’s review of the Proenza Schouler show in the NYTs is a reminder that we need to really see and touch the fabrics of the clothes to appreciate them. Sadly for most of us, this is not possible until they are in stores months after the show…
