Tanga in Elle

One of my favorite models, Tanga Moreau, was photographed by Horst Diekgerdes for the March issue of Elle. The story highlights many of the hits of the spring season– Marc Jacobs’ satin flats, Dior skirt suit, the amazing Balenciaga rings, ruffles from both Balenciaga and Gucci, and the Celine twist top.

Now that my friend and KiC profile, Samira Nasr, is Elle’s new Fashion Director, I will give the magazine a closer look.

  1. I like the simplicity of this shoot – and the more relaxed photo at the end. And Tanga’s gappy smile!

  2. She really is fabulous…until she opens her mouth. I just can’t get past those teeth! She and the other really popular current models that all have that gap – I just don’t understand the attraction. My younger son had a gap…I paid a lot of money to have that fixed!

Not an attractive characteristic at all…in my opinion.

  3. Love the outfit in the top pic. I think little imperfections in teeth can add character and individuality to faces. I think Tanga’s gap may be a bit more than I could accept though. More power to her since it obviously hasn’t held her back.

  4. I love the outfits not the model. Imperfections sometimes are nice but when you have many others with this same teeth it is a trend no longer a sign of individuality.
