A few thoughts on Milan

Peter Dundas, designer for Emilio Pucci, showed a fun collection. I’m definitely not cutting my over-the-knee boots after seeing this show.

Black leather is still going strong and this topper by Marni is pretty fab.

A coat is on my list for fall, and there were a lot of good ones in Milan. This ladylike version from Dolce & Gabbana is lovely, but I am not sure it’s the one.

The half shoe/half boot trend continues and I predict that Ferragamo’s offering above will do well.

  • The Pucci cape with the tan suede boots is stunning. The leather topper is really cute and looks like it would be a versatile piece. In looking at these pics I need to remind myself that fall/winter climates aren’t the same everywhere. The sandals and the D & G line certainly aren’t designed with New England in mind!
