Block Party

The block-heel sandal is my current obsession. After wearing chunky heeled pumps for the last 8 months, I am more than happy to continue with this chic, yet practical, trend this spring. The perfect run-around sandal; I am completely addicted to this style.

All sandals in the KiC Shop.

  • These are all great selections, now I want a pair (or two), especially those lovely scalloped ones. I have to come over to the KiC shop to see who makes them.

  • I way back in the day, had a black freelance block heel 2″ sandal with double ankle wrap buckle strap. I wore them to death, yes I killed them, I tried to resuscitate them may times with new soles and applications of mink oil, but they eventually bit the dust literally and fashionably ( they became a don’t) now they are a do again and how I miss them. I have my eye on the Elizabeth and James, Pour La Victoire and Loeffler Randal pairs. Eeenie Minnie mynee moe….

  • I also like the Elizabeth & James version and contemplate purchasing them. I like all the above. What’s not to like? Chic and comfortable simplicity.

  • I just got a Vince pair, the Lara sandal. They are my favorite style I’ve seen so far.

Preston, I would love it if you would do a post on looking chic in very hot climates. So many stylish pieces just don’t work when the temperature is 80+ for almost half the year.

  • Preston, I am just loving your blog. I have a blog called Curators Of Style. Our fashion style seems to be very similar: I can’t tell you how many times I have been working on a post, and voila ….it’s on your blog.

I would really appreciate any feed back you might have for me.

    All my best,

    Kristin

  • I love these type of shoes, so confy and elegant .
unfortunately nowadays …so hard to find! it’s all High heels !
I love wedges too…but 10/12 cm is also too much for me.
    I loved this selection 🙂
