Valentino does the Tan-go

I still wear my Valentino Tan-go pumps all the time and the house is offering them again for Pre-Fall.

I recommend 1/2 size larger.

  • I agree Preston – LOVE them too! I just “pre-ordered” the nude leather from Nordstroms and they just shipped. Any thoughts on nude patent versus nude leather? I have the black patent – lower heel version and wear them often…thanks to your post last fall!

  • Hi Mary, I saw the leather versions and they are great but I already have 2 tan pairs– 1 in patent and 1 in suede. The above pair are pale pink patent, which is pretty, but not tan.

  • I own the tan and the black purely because of Keep It Chic! The tan is the perfect tan. What I will say is that they are really uncomfortable. And I have the lower heeled ones. I think it’s bc the patent leather is so stiff. Nonetheless, I wear them all the time.

  • I just purchased the dark blue lower heeled. They are uncomfortable but gorgeous! I would love a tan pair too. Thank you for such a great blog Preston!!

  • Ack, I tried these on and loved them, but also thought they were super uncomfortable. Do they get better over time? It’s so hard to find beautiful lower heeled shoes, and I was hoping these would be a winner.

  • Try a half size larger

  • I was wondering if you could post a few outfit details of you in your black tango pumps? I’m thinking of getting the black patent flat 1 inch heel version, but I would like to see a few examples. Also, what size do you recommend getting?
