First Fall Find

Capucine Safyurtlu

Never on my list before, an army green military-style shirt now takes the top spot. It’s a great layering piece that instantly updates a look and doesn’t need to be bank-breakingly expensive. A win-win for sure.

I quite like this one by Rag & Bone.

  • I’ve had a lifelong love affair with military green (it started in my teens with my wearing Dad’s old army fatigues!). A shirt like number one above will definitely be on my list for fall.

  • I’ve got a couple of military jackets that I wear, a lot. And Mr TNMA has a lovely Margaret Howell khaki shirt that I’m always trying to steal – perhaps I should buy my own.

  • I like this…it reminds me of wearing army jackets when I was in college! Of course, that was a LONG time ago, and these are in much nicer condition!

  • I couldn’t agree more. I can’t wait to break in my new Rag & Bone Nakamura jacket. Unfortunately if you are looking for one online it is sold out.

  • This reminds me that I have one stuffed in a bookbag from when I was studying Chinese.

  • I know! It’s almost embarrassing how completely enamored I’ve become with mine. It works with everything, but especially with ladylike classics. It is one ‘unnecessary’ purchase that I’m so grateful I didn’t pass up on!! (I have a separate closet to house my jackets and coats. I need no more.)
