Hair Freshener

© The New York Times

I may not wear a lot of makeup, but I do love perfume and spray it even before going to bed. About a year ago hair fragrances popped up on my radar, and just last week the NYT’s covered these four products. I dab perfume on the back of my neck, but a great scent for my hair would be ideal (and kind of sexy). I cannot wait to give these a test-drive.

  • We have just recently purchased the Oribe supershine light hair cream and it smells awesome, plus does exactly what it promised. Tames fly-aways and adds shine to my super long hair. I shall have to hunt down the hair refresher now.

  • I’ll second the vote for the Oribe supershine light hair cream. I received a few samples earlier this summer, and nevermind how wonderful it made my hair look, I couldn’t stop smelling the strands as they blew around too! The fragrance lasted right through to the next wash.

  • I asked my hair stylist about the Oribe Hair Refresher and she said it is not exactly the amazing scent from the Texturizing Spray and the Apres Beach Spray. I would suggest one of those for multi-use!

  • I can recommend the Shu Uemura Art of Hair Essence Absolue- It is a beautiful hair oil that has the most delicate scent, supposedly of how Camelias would smell… I use it on my body too …. It is fantastic!!
