Simply Chic

Photograph by Phil Oh for vogue.com

Emily Weiss, founder of the site Into the Gloss, looks super chic in simple black and white. Doesn’t hurt that she can carry off killer boots.

  • She looks AMAZING!!! I love her entire look! I love it so much I broke my own rules and had to order the boots…the white detail on the boots are perfection! As always Preston…another wonderful post! Thank you!

  • I love this look. Have to figure out how to translate it into a 5’2″ frame without losing its appeal. The boots are fab!

  • I emailed Mary and asked about her boots (which I too love) and here is her response–

“Oh – they are Reed Krakoff – his runway boot which I am sure is the same boot Emily has on! I found them at Saks.com and there were a few small sizes at BG/Neiman Marcus! What are your thoughts on those boots? Too trendy? Skirt only? I need wearable heel with mileage for jeans too! Thanks Preston!”

  • I think she looks great, but over the knee boots seem a little, uh . . .
    am I just too conservative????

    ToriSeptember 9th, 2013  8:29 PM

  • Hi, Gucci’s Soho over the knee is a great alternative as are ones by Laurence Dacade and Chanel (more feminine).
