I have to wait

So, I made this big deal about Stan Smith sneakers, and I find out that I can’t find a pair! Adidas is relaunching them in 2014. Until then, I’m wearing my grey trainers as I run-around.

  • I know. I just managed to find a pair in orange, not green. But if you are size european size 40 (UK 7), then you are find one easily for around $75.

  • I love the sporty look of sneakers as a run around shoe. It can be a very chic look if done right.

  • Any idea on who makes the coat?

  • I still vote for my Hermes Quick leather sneaker. They’re chic and last forever.

  • Good. Grey is better for London. White would be all wrong with the London light and vibe, you would stand out as an American tourist not a fashionista!

  • Isn’t this pair “new balance” on the photo ?

  • I heard that about white sneakers in Europe. I guess they are not seen as fashionable and one would stick out as a tourist. Maybe Alexa Chung should wear a pair to take out her garbage and then you will be become an automatic fashionista!

  • When in Rome early this year every second woman (local not tourist) was wearing Hogan trainers. Almost always in a rich dark brown but sometimes black. They looked put together and comfortable.

  • Mia said it first, but I was going to say that for walking in Europe – nothing beats Hogan trainers. I have them in dark brown and the wedge is not only great leg lengthening, it’s more comfortable than a flat trainer. And yes, I did buy mine in Italy, but NY has a Hogan’s downtown.
