Holiday Flats

406106_e2_xWow, it’s mid November and the holidays are upon us. I already have a stack of invitations to trim trees, deck halls, Christmas teas, and lunches. This weekend I am going to pick up (and will post on) hostess gifts, and start to think about what I will wear to these events.

As you know, I am not a big evening-wear girl. Beautiful accessories are my way to dress-up an outfit. The Gianvito Rossi lace flats and Valentino’s with crystals and a bow would be great with either a LBD or black pants.

How chic are these Jimmy Choo slippers— they would take jeans and a sweater to a whole new level.

  • Good afternoon, I love the silver pair. A wonderful addition to jeans and a grey cashmere sweater … A touch of unexpected glitz creating a beautiful foundation to a utilitarian outfit. That’s how I’d wear those shoes!

  • Luurve those Jimmy Choo flats! Ordered them immediately. Also like to keep a pair of Lanvin Metallic Ballet flats in the closet as an alternative.

  • I love flats for more casual occasions – but for evening …would NEVER wear flats – a little heel heals a too casual outfit – flats for evening only if you are really tall and really skinny
