A belted top

These images are courtesy of T magazine, albeit from two different stories. I am in love with the belted top and want one for spring. The black Givenchy would be an easy piece, and the white Alexander McQueen looks crisp and fresh. Both would do nicely.

  • I love the Alexander McQueen top and a belted shirt is one of my favorite wardrobe pieces. I can think of several ways to wear it already.

  • I love the Givenchy belted top, and I think it’d be easy to wear. Love the Alexander McQueen too, but not sure about how the pockets would sit on a normal sized person (which I assume you are?)

  • Love the Givenchy. The Alexander McQueen looks a little busy to me. Maybe because it is white.

  • Agree with Kathy. You’d need really small hips to make that white top work, I think. And I don’t like the belted top over the belted pants. Perhaps over leggings would be more flattering. Anyway, the point is that belted tops are cute. Thank you, Preston,

  • Hello, I like the black ensemble , it’s stylish and looks so comfortable. The White one has a hint of being on safari, perhaps that might be useful whilst on a hunt at the January sales….!!

  • Love the Givenchy. The McQueen top does seem a little busy.

  • Love the black Givenchy! I agree that it looks very easy without being too plain, which can be hard line to walk. Please let us know if/when you spot it in the shops!
