The Perfect LWD

A few years ago I bought a 3.1 Phillip Lim white dress. It was a simple sheath with piping– absolute perfection. When I showed it to my best friend (at the time…), she promptly went out and bought the exact same dress and wore it to a shoot. Regretfully I returned mine, because now that we are no longer friends, I would happily wear it all the time.

Needless to say, I’ve been on the hunt for a replacement ever since. I will wear this Stella McCartney dress from resort until it falls off the hanger.

They could have put a smaller size on the model…

  • Or they could have chosen a bigger model. Look at those knee and collar bones! Yikes!

  • Ha! Makes it sound like the dress was the cause of the rift. . . Frenemy Fashion!

  • You should have kept the dress. And I agree…the model used should have been bigger…those knobby knees and stick legs are hardly attractive! Her thighs look to be the same size as her calves…

  • The NY designer Peter Cohen makes this type of a dress. I have one in Black but he can make it in white or cream! Amazing!

  • Poor girl. Her body looks fine but a smaller dress would have fit the model and shown off the dress better.

  • Love this dress and thinking of ordering it for myself. Sorry that happened to you Preston…..your ex-friend had no manners, but I am sure you will enjoy this dress!
