Mast Brothers Chocolate Factory — Keep it Chic by Preston Davis

Field Trip

Mast Brothers Chocolate Factory

My living room is strewn with books, Doc Martens, a long bow with arrows, a turntable and records (yep, old school, and we all posted it to Instagram), stocking stuffers, and the Mast Brothers’ cookbook. The cookbook, a present for my husband, was given with the stipulation that we make a field trip to the chocolate factory in Brooklyn.

And I cannot think of a better day to get out of the house than December 26th. Honestly, how many versions of “A Christmas Carol” can one family watch? Followed by lunch at Nightingale 9, our favorite Vietnamese restaurant, this promises to be a perfect day.

  • Sounds like a great idea although I can’t imagine eating another bite of food. Maybe tomorrow. Too bad I am too far away from Brooklyn. Next time I am in the city.

  • I like that idea… Not having a TV myself I think it’s a wonderful way to spend Boxing Day …. I guess it will be a useful way to start thinking about Easter too!!!!

  • Missy – you can find Mast Bros bars at most Whole Foods. I recommend the Stumptown Coffee bar.
