Considering The Clutch

My daughter pinched my black 3.1 Phillip Lim clutch when she went back to boarding school. In her defense, she knew that I was a bit clutch fatigued– always in my hand, or under my arm, was annoying. But seeing this pic of Capucine Safyurtlu looking perfectly put-together with her white shirt, gold bracelets, and clutch, makes me reconsider carrying mine. I need to get it back first.

  • I love, love this photo (but she’s NOT taking out a cigarette is she?)! The combination of a crisp white shirt with the cuffs and clutch never fails to inspire me.
Good luck with reclaiming your clutch! 🙂

  • Oh the effortless, casual cool look of this. I’m drooling. I have a love/hate relationship with clutches for the same reasons you mentioned. I have gone almost totally hands-free with cross-body bags in all shapes and sizes – but this photo makes me want to pull out a clutch immediately.

  • Good luck with getting that clutch back!
Certainly, this photo makes one think one needs gold bracelets, clutch and white shirt.

  • I would love it if you would talk bracelets…I remember the ring thing…but I think we may be coming into a good bracelet time….there has been a lot of layering out here in l.a. of string things and such..but I think there is a stronger message with this picture of layering good pieces….please instruct…I am a person who still loves Kenneth jay lane..
