Virginie Mouzat, editor in chief of Vanity Fair France, looks chic and comfy in navy layers at the couture shows. Love her wavy hair too.

  • I have noticed in the past few years, French are wearing more navy instead of black. I have to say, however, when wearing navy, one must stick with the highest quality, for some reason, navy more than any color shows if the quality is lacking.

  • Navy indeed! Agree with Amee, navy shows its quality. Also add that all navy is not the same…there is something way more agreeable about a deeper European navy than a typical brighter American one.

  • Navy is a bit softer, too. It’s a trick coordinating pieces, though. I’ve been sure two navy pieces were the same shade, only to find in daylight that they were off. I could have six navy suits (when I was wearing suits) that were all slightly different.
