‘Forgotten Florida, Found’

Untitled-03022014-2

“(S)even miles of soft, uncrowded beaches”, sounds lovely and perfect right about now. Gasparilla Island, with it’s sole town, Boca Grande, is in my sights. My mother winters in Naples, which is just down the coast. Last weekend, the WSJ ran a round-up of old, classic-feeling Florida spots and Gasparilla is like a siren song to my winter-weary self.
