One of my favorite stylists, Marie-Amélie Sauvé, talks about her career in the new Self Service. Unfortunately, issue #40, which marks the magazine’s twentieth anniversary, went to press before Marie-Amélie announced her new position at Louis Vuitton working with her dear friend, Nicolas Ghesquière. However, in the interview, she does talk about their friendship and 13 year collaboration at Balenciaga. Marie-Amélie’s first job was at Vogue Paris and she tells the story of her mother getting her an internship at the magazine during the couture shows when she was 19.
But what I love most, are these images of the very fit, makeup-less, très French, chicest of chic fashion stylist.
