Begging For A Belt

The dress in the previous post is a bit like a blank canvas, it could be accessorized countless ways. Its defined waist seems to be begging for a wide belt. One of the hottest items of the season, a wide, wrap-around belt would finish this look nicely. A little fringe would work too.

Black belt, brown & white belt, white sandal, white belt, brown sandal.

  • Belts have been “out” for a long time. I, of course, didn’t realize wearing a belt could actually be “out” until my daughters informed me. I wonder if young woman will embrace them? I don’t think either of my daughters have ever worn one! I like the black one and would wear it with a black tunic so it wouldn’t “cut” my already short frame.
