On The hunt For

The Top

Yesterday, one of the women we were shooting for a KiC profile raved about her Emerson Fry purchases. I’ve been looking for tops, ones to wear in these transition months when it’s freezing in the morning, then warm in the afternoon. Layering pieces if you will. I have two absolutely perfect cotton-knit, long sleeve Tees by Isabel Marant, but I cannot wear them everyday. This ivory top looks cozy.

  • Preston, after seeing your post on EF, I bought a pair of pants that I am thrilled with. I also purchased this tee, but returned it. I love everything about it, but not the color. I’m a medium blonde and ivory just washes me out. I would love it if they did it in other colors though.

  • This is a look that I live in! Athleta makes some super comfy versions of this that I love, in great colors to spruce up things for spring….comfort and style is what it is all about!

  • This looks great! I’ve been wearing rag and bone tees (which I absolutely love), but the weather in NYC has been calling for long sleeve tees. I think this may do the trick.

  • You will love it. I bought it along with a handful of other items when you first posted on EF. They have great items that I am living in. Thanks for introducing me to them.

  • Many of the looser tee shirts have a scooped neckline that looks TERRIBLE on me. Love this one so much! And looking at this shot makes me think that I can wear my leather pants into spring? Yah!!!

  • For myself, I have found Petite Bateau the most reliable & perfect cotton t-shirts and underpinnings. Unfortunately, my most recently purchased t’s are labeled ‘made in Morroco’ (not France) and the hems are cut shorter, which matters a lot when you are long waisted. Even so, Iove them and they are very inexpensive.

  • Can you please let me know what brand those amazing leather pants are?

  • Hi Preston, I am looking to order this top. Do you know if it is see through and requires an undergarment?

    Many thanks.
