Perfectly Pulled Together

Saint Laurent leather tote

I have a picture in my head of how I want to dress when running around. This Saint Laurent ad is pretty close to my ideal look. Sadly, I’m rarely this pulled together for the school run.

  • When I first glanced, I thought it was Brooke Shields circa 1980. I am not a fan of the high waisted jean. So unflattering, even on the uber slim model.

  • The tie shirt is done perfectly, and the accessories are minimal. The handbag is the game changer–takes an otherwise traditional look (jeans, white shirt, blazer) and gives it chic, modernity, and elegance. I would love to see what shoe she is wearing–anyone we can call about that?

  • I’m curious if you’ve found a pair of high waisted jeans that you love??? I’ve tried a few on but have not committed yet. The look above is sharp and great looking but I could never manage being that pulled together for school runs. I’m still in my lululemons at that hour…

  • The one part of this look that I don’t like is the high waisted jeans…
