It’s Time

J Brand white jeans

It’s time to replace my white jeans. Unlike blue and black denim that fade and age well, white looks better bright and fresh. I’m also going to try a different style this time around, the pair I’ve been wearing does me no favors. The ones above by Frame and J. Brand are coming today. I already have and love pants by both brands, will let you know.

P.S. I’m keeping the J. Brand pair– they fit perfectly and are a medium weight.

  • Love frame denim Le garcon in white. Also, Emerson fry makes a great pair with zippers up the ankle. I got that recommendation from you and couldn’t be happier with their selections. The long sleeved white linen T is great as well!

  • LMK I used to wear rag and bone and this year the white is VERY sheer

  • I love this look stylish yet easy and simple. I have just bought 2 pairs of white jeans from ZARA. They are super stretchy and not expensive- feel and look like much more expensive brands.

  • I own both of these and they are fantastic! Ordered a bunch of stuff from Emerson Frye, including white jeans with side zippers.

  • I like the fit on Alt…slim but not tight. That’s hard to find. The closest I can get is with AG Stilt which I have in several washes and colors. Curious to hear your opinion on Frame in white….

    A Note On StyleMay 13th, 2014  9:45 AM

  • I agree that they need to be “fresh” so I actually have three pair that I keep in rotation: AG, Citizens and Joes, although the CoH ones are losing it a bit so I’ll take a look at J Brand, thanks.
I’d love to try the Emerson Fry but they are constantly out of stock in my size.

  • The AG Stilt is one my favorites too.

  • Love the look as well! Any idea who makes the shirt?

  • We normally love Frame jeans but the white ended up being a little too tight and sheer. Currently, our white jean of choice is the DL 1961 Angel in Milk. Never lose their shape and aren’t super skinny at the ankle.

  • I have a pair of JBrands from three or four years ago, granted I didn’t wear it last year because I was still in maternity clothes, but it still looks bright white very fresh, the fit is fantastic. Would definitly go with JBrand again.

  • I have the AG Stilts in white, as well as dark navy denim.
The white is quite opaque, and the stretch makes them really comfortable. They’re more like Jeggings than Alt’s white jeans though.

  • Joes jeans just came out with white jeans that do not stain! Kind of incredible and come in a few different cuts. Worth you looking into! I bought them and love them!

  • J Brand Cropped Rail works for me, agreed need new pair (s) each year…..

  • Finding the right weight denim is so important with white jeans. Nothing is worse than slightly flimsy, a little flesh color showing through white denim. Sadly, J. CREW’s white jeans are worse quality than two years ago when I purchased mine. J. Crew needs to watch their step–they are losing their mojo because of cheap production. Because of the higher price of cotton today, many ‘jeans’ are being made with a higher percentage of stretch than cotton–big mistake. Denim means cotton!! Just a little stretch is all that is needed– Thank you for the brand recommendations!

  • Madewell’s Skinny Skinny are great. Not that skinny and a weighty enough denim. Perfect for those not blessed with skinny legs!
