Actually, I’ve been struggling with a massive head cold this week and have read up a storm. Julia Glass’ first novel “Three Junes” was fantastic and I’m on the second of Peter Mayle’s “Caper” series.  The upside of being sick.

  • Head cold here too. Also read two books while sick, more than the rest of the year! Also lost 3 lbs. Yes, there are some upsides to being sick!

  • If you have not read already, add “me before you” to your summer reading list. Maybe wait until your head cold is better because you will weep and get all stuffed up again!! When you head back to LA with your daughter, remember there is a nice bookstore , diesel, in the Brentwood country mart.
