On My Radar

The Forecast Is Green

Fendi Valentino

A few weeks ago, I received a booklet that previewed the fall trends. Green was listed (along with grey and metallic), and at the time, I gave it little thought. But then I saw these non-bright-green items and understood the appeal. The earthy hue of the sweater is lovely and would fit nicely into my predominantly neutrals wardrobe.

On a side note, I had tucked away my Valentino Rockstuds. After a bit of overindulgence, I needed a break. But, last weekend I wore my sandals with a LWD to a cocktail party, and they felt right again.

Fendi sweater, Valentino shoes.

  • love that greeny-neutral color! It’s tough to find the right shade though.

  • I’ve been musing over “green” since you posted this. I never wear green, but last year my sister gave me a beautiful pair of jade earrings that I (guiltily) have yet to wear. I’m now thinking that paring them with khaki or grey just might work.

  • On vaca in Canada and came across dark green suede Tod’s brogues. Fell instantly in love, even though the temps outside are tropical. Thinking I might need to follow the KIC advice and go back & purchase them! Cheers, Laura
