Tory’s Tabletop

Tory Burch

I’ve been on a mission to update my tableware and love the new tabletop collection by Tory Burch. Blue and white, a perennial favorite, is the color combo on Tory’s spongeware line.

  • I love sponge ware and blue is my favorite, so I’m very tempted although we absolutely don’t need more tableware, but it’s a fondness that’s run in my family for generations…

  • I love the decor, i m crazy about renovating my new home in Dubai and have been looking for some really nice ethic decor. I found this place www.kaleidoscopebymimi.com that has the most awesome stuff online.

  • Blue and white gets me every time. But, what I connect with here is the placemats. I just bought some fabric to make a few, because they are just too easy and there are so many nice fabrics to use. I haven’t really given much thought to placemats in a number of years, focusing more on tablescapes and dish ware, but they were so recently on my radar screen and suddenly appearing on KIC too!

  • Blue and white is so fresh and cheerful, especially with yellow, pink, green; it’s hard to go wrong. But I think there are many better options than Tory Burch–small, boutique labels do chic linens and are fun to shop for. Sewing is a fantastic idea! My very talented mother sewed cocktail napkins (fringed the hems), placemats & luncheon napkins, stacked and tied up with ribbon, and gave them for shower gifts, hostess, housewarming, and birthday gifts.
