Summer Tweak

J. Crew So, I went back to J. Crew to return the larger of the two ribbed knit sweaters and while there, I spied these wedge espadrilles on sale. Since I decided this summer to re-embrace the wedge, I picked up a pair in off-white. They are very cute with shorts and a tee.

  • I’ve tried these on about 8 times and always seem to pass. Towards the end of last summer I finally relented and was about to buy the ones in chambray but of course by then they didn’t have my size. I saw them this summer and couldn’t make up my mind yet again. But I do have some errands tomorrow near our JCrew, and you might have just inspired me to finally add a pair.

  • Love them too! Wedge espadrilles are always a good buy in summer!

  • These wedges have been a go-to summer staple for the past 2 seasons. I have them in black and the olive color. They are a great alternative to flats and since I’m 5’1, I love having a bit of a heel!!

  • Nice! I’m glad you bought them. I like that olive pair.

  • These have been my “go to” shoes all summer. I love them; however, they run a little big. Great with distressed jeans, skirts, & shorts.
