Butterflies Are Free To Fly

Givenchy

Butterflies abound at both Givenchy and Valentino (below from the September issue of W). I think it’s a lovely motif.

  • What is it about butterflies that are just magical? Talk about happy! Nature into art . . .

  • I love how both Valentino and Givenchy managed to have butterflies on their clothes, but in a very modern, if not slightly goth way. Couture at its best !
