So, I bought a blue bag. Yep, blue. They call it navy, but it’s actually lighter and brighter, more of a cobalt or smalt (I looked it up). The bag comes in lots of colors that are more “me”, but I quite like this one. Although the tags are still attached, it’s sitting on my desk so I can ponder it, which means it’s probably here to stay. I’ve wanted a more structured, ladylike bag, and this one by Marni fit the bill. The best bit is the adjustable strap which can extend to be worn messenger style, a real win-win.
This will be my run-around outfit for early fall. Navy still feels fresh and I cannot get enough ribbed sweaters, especially from J. Crew. I’m not always their biggest fan (sequins on Tees, really?), but this season they have the best basics, the pieces they became famous for, and I’m buying them up.
And I’m starting my search for the perfect loafers with these by Manolo Blahnik, will let you know.
