Such A Good Dress

Celine

Like Sarah Harris of British Vogue, if I had bought this SS13 Céline dress I’d still be wearing it too. It”s just so good.

  • Wonderful, classic dress! Think it looks a touch more chic with the shorter hair. Would still be wearing it too if I had it .

  • Sarah Harris is really becoming a streetstyle star, love her very casual yet totally chic looks ! This dress is very beautiful, and I guess you don’t need to worry about trends when you wear Céline, so timeless !

  • Amazing what small details can make–despite identical dresses, the model on the right outshines Ms. Harris hands down, primarily because of the dated ‘Gwyneth’ bleached, layered hair. The model on the right looks polished and modern and so much more pulled together. Excellence occurs at the edges.

  • Sarah’s hair is naturally gray, part of her tremendous appeal in my book.

  • I agree a woman who is known for an eye on modernity should shed the hair to match her image. She is known for the color not the cut.

  • Its a great dress. The pictures show how a well designed basic dress can enhance and showcase the personal styles of its wearers.

  • Context is everything. In Sarah Harris’ pics over the years, you can see how much her “youthful grey” has become a distinctive signature. Not a stand-out before, but she certainly is now.

  • My sincere apologies–from the photograph, I perceived it as ‘bleach blonde.’ I admire any woman who embraces natural graying and who has the complexion (and courage) to wear it. Thank you for pointing it out.
