In Vogue Paris

Vogue Paris Thanks to WSJ. and now Vogue Paris,  I’m officially on the hunt for a fur-trimmed, army green parka.  It’s the perfect antidote to my closet full of duffels and ladylike coats. If we’re to have another severe winter, I want a coat with attitude.

  • Yves Salomon is the best brand to go for

  • I love your split personalities! I am not alone.

  • I have a few army green parkas, not lined with fur of course, but in LA, they’re the best runaround jackets.
Good luck finding a fantastic one – I do love the St. Laurent, and if I lived where there was a real winter, would be high up on my list.

  • This one is really beautiful, especially styled this way !!
But I believe this type of parkas can also be worn in a very elegant way, with OTK boots for example !

  • Again, you have inspired me! I just ordered the Cut25 Yigal Azrouel parka. Could only find a 2 and I am usually a 4 so may be too small, but had to give it a try! The Saint Laurent is gorgeous!

  • Great shot! Love the pants in this photo. Do you know who makes those?

  • Parajumper parkas are great! I live in Minneapolis and love to walk around the city lakes…even on the coldest days. The Long Bear keeps me toasty.

  • I live in Australia and really have no need for a coat. Fur or otherwise. However I’m very partial to the colour Khaki and I do love a bit of fur. My Favourite coat that hangs in my wardrobe is a Khaki camouflage Parka with drawstring and fur lined hoody. Luckily I have 3 boys who play Footy in Australia. Deep in the Southern Winter I can pull it off!

  • Glad this trend is taking off! Bought a green parka on sale from Benetton last spring and it comes with a removable faux fur lining. Nice quality for the price. Fashion is where you find it!

  • Check out the SAM. Anorak-Double Downtown Down parka. It’s a army colored anorak with a fur trimmed hood. It has a great look.

  • I love parkas and have them for all kinds of weather, but once I got my Sisii parka there was no need to ever buy another!

  • Just adore this TOMBOY jacket a must have,
already spend time on line and cannot not find.
Where does he come from – how can I find this delicious item.

  • Mr. and Mrs. Fur!

  • The parka is Burberry Brit men’s. Top Haider Ackerman, and bracelets and pants Isabel Marant.

    PrestonOctober 4th, 2014  6:01 AM

  • The pants are Haider Ackermann, not Isabel Marant
