Books & Linens

Two Of My Favorite Things

Jane HodgesBooks are my favorite gift to give friends, and linens are my favorite gift to give myself. I met Jane Scott Hodges of Leontine Linens a few years ago and felt like I was meeting the queen of linens herself. This book would make a great hostess gift.

  • Sometimes I just wonder if you read my mind….doing 23 days of gifts for my Mother in Law before she celebrates her 70th on the 24th of December. She adores linens and books! I have given her books on decorating and collecting for the last 20 years and I am thinking this may become her favorite. Thanks for sharing!! I just finished placing my order for 2 🙂 because I love linens and books too!!
    Merry Christmas!!

  • Preston, have you seen this book? Spineless by Susan Middleton . It is so beautiful. I am such a sucker for anything dealing with the sea.

  • My real envy is for that linen cupboard – oh, to have a great place to put those ironed placemats and sheets!

  • I was the lucky recipient of Jane’s book as a gift. It is filled with beautiful images and ideas. If traveling to New Orleans, make sure to visit Leontine Linens.

  • What beautiful linens – went to her website. I’ve also been craving a set of monogramed sheets, duvet cover, etc. Will have to keep the dogs off the bed though.

  • I bought my hand towels for my guest bath from Leontine Linens years ago at a truck show in Newport, RI. They have stood the test of time and have become much softer. I love the monogram we picked out of their vast selection. I would highly recommend ordering from them.
Keep up the good work Preston. You looked amazing in the Tory photo!
