In Cherry Bombe

Burn

Diptyque & Izola Candles

I love a good tip and Kerry Diamond’s suggestion in the current issue of Cherry Bombe is tops.  No fireplace? No problem–Kerry recommends burning a Diptyque wood-scented candle. I am also a fan of Izola candles.

  • Great scents!! I also would reccommend Sydney Hale Co. candles…for the holidays I love Blue Spruce and Spearmint…such a chic holiday scent and Woodsmoke and Amber for the winter months. When March hits I start burning Bergamot and Black Tea to welcome in the Spring. They give 10% of their profits to The Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation. And finally, the owner Megan is from my hometown of Arlington, Virginia so I love supporting a local gal! (Her husband Chris is her partner) The company name is made up of the maiden names of both her and her husbands grandparents. Ok…too much information 😉

  • I’m a big fan of Roland Pine from Soap and Paper Factory.

  • Feu de Bois is by far my favorite candle – like a beach fire in summer and roaring wood fire in winter. A great choice.

  • Yes, I too recommend LAFCO House & Home Feu de Bois Candle – Ski House scent. It has the cedar burning, fresh air smell that reminds me a great day of skiing followed by a lovely, leisurely, long lunch in the lodge.

  • Oh I love Feu de Bois ! This has to be one of my all time favorite Diptyque scents ! And I agree, no need for a fire place with Diptyque candles… I believe they are one of the best things about long winters !
