Valentino

I won’t need to look far and wide for the two items that top my spring list, gladiators and a pretty white dress, because Valentino has both. The only problem is, which one?

  • Chiuri and Piccioli are extraordinarily talented. They design gorgeous, desirable clothes that clearly relate to Valentino’s own work. Promise us you will buy one of those white dresses and post a photo of yourself in it!

  • Gorgeous. I really like the second from the left.

  • I love the white dresses! I have to be honest, while great looking in magazines, how wearable and comfortable are those types of gladiators? I’m all for the K Jacques version, but the ones that wrap up to the knee seem like they would be uncomfortable and never stay in place once you started moving around. I would love to know if anyone had worn them successfully in real life!

  • Love the white dresses. The sandals look like just too much work.

  • Love the white dresses! It’s 38degrees Celsius here today, which Google says is 100+ degrees Fahrenheit, and humid, in Australia. Boiling. No way would those lace up sandals be bearable, great as they look.

  • Jennifer – Stuart Weitzman makes a black up to the knee gladiator that has a thin, back zipper that prevents the problem of thong slipping down leg with movement. However, I tried them on and it seems like one’s calves need to be within a certain range to comfortably wear them. Link –
