Ta Da! The Denim Skirt

I’ve been on a mission to find the denim skirt: not a mini, raw denim, and 70s-inspired. Just when I was about to give up, I got an email from A.P.C. and had an ‘aha’ moment. Yesterday, I popped into The A.P.C. shop in Soho and it was love at first sight, this is the denim skirt of my dreams.

Fits true to size.

  • Love the blouse it’s shown with too!

  • Don’t know how you “popped” out anywhere yesterday, but glad you did. The skirt looks perfect and I just ordered one.

  • Where does this skirt hit? It looks on the shorter size. Also curious about cut of skirt. When something is belt loop-less it has to fit a bit more for the waist than the hips.

  • Glad you found your denim skirt. The denim color looks just a little off–maybe because it’s “Japanese denim” whatever that is. I like a little more broken-in Levi look. City denim vs country denim!

  • It’s adorable! I just love it and would wear it in a heartbeat. I’m sure you will really enjoy your new skirt Preston. How wonderful to find something that is exactly what you were after. Wish we had APC here in Australia….

  • Ps I just had a look at the skirt on line. It will cost almost $300USD for me to purchase and ship it to Australia. Boo hoo sadly I will have to miss out on this one.

  • Bought the skirt and love it! It hits just at the knee if you are 162 cms. I ordered two sizes and went with the smaller size. It’s quite stretchy.

  • Preston, I stopped procrastinating and just ordered it before they ran out of my size! Thanks so much for the tip.

  • Mine arrived today…LOVE! I ordered mine in my usual size, but it was too big. I now have a size smaller on the way and can’t wait!!! Thanks again for the find Preston.
