I tried these Céline flats yesterday–comfortable and chic, but not sure they suit me.

  • Definitely a style to be approached with caution. Covering the top of the foot can be leg shortening.

  • Perhaps my eye hasn’t adjusted yet, but I find these highly unattractive.

  • They remind me of those socks/ stockings that some women wear with their flats or pumps.
Or those booties you have to wear in certain places – but a fitting version. I think I’ll stick with the classic ones.

  • They’re really original, and I agree, they may not be for everyone, but i’m sure it’s just a question of time as we’re not used to seeing this type of ballet flats… But I simply love the look here, and the Céline are the perfect unexpected touch !

  • The leather looks lovely and soft, but the Lanvin ballet flats are truly the best!

  • I’m curious to see if these will catch on. Like most people it seems, they have yet to grow on me, but at the same time, I’m really eager for a fresher, updated ballet flat to be ushered in.

  • Stunning in this photo for certain; however, I agree with the others in thinking that they may look like socks and will shorten the leg in real life! One must have rather symmetrical feet, too–soft leather isn’t very aesthetically forgiving when it comes to bunions etc!

  • Not enough cleavege….looks like granny slipers.

  • LOVE! did you think these flats ran TTS? I’m wondering if I should take 37.5 or 38. Thanks 🙂

  • I bought a pair (black) right before Christmas and literally, I have yet to stop wearing them. These shoes are ultra soft and super super comfortable. At 52, am all for comfort right now and really, they look cool too. Next purchase – red one/heeled version.
