While We’re Young

While We're Young

One of the benefits of being self employed is, when it’s grey and dreary, I can just go to the movies. I saw While We’re Young yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Naomi Watts is my new favorite actress.

Opening on Friday, The Clouds of Sils Maria, which got great reviews.

  • I want to see that movie also. Naomi has been one of my favorites since she showed up. She has such a subtle, yet undeniable presence.

  • Mine too. And it’s a very recent love.

  • I’ve disliked anything by Baumbach I’ve ever watched, so I’ll probably give this one a pass, despite the cast. If you haven’t seen it, Naomi Watts gives the definition of a haunting performance in Mother and Child. The movie got mixed reviews, but I think it’s so moving and underrated.

  • Plus Naomi’s boyfriend/partner is the wonderful Liev Schreiber in her real life!
