On The hunt For

Tunic Time

I’m on the hunt for a black tunic. Both The Row and Céline showed one but, I’m extending my search. TBC.

  • Love this tunic ! The Row and Céline share the same style in a way, I love both those brands so much. Let us know when you find THE one 🙂

  • I love the outfit shown, but what in fashion makes something a “tunic”? I see so many different styles, lengths, etc. described as tunics, that I’m a bit confused.

  • Here’s what I found on dictionary.com re. a tunic (I’m interested, too, in the actual definition).

“A woman’s upper garment, either loose or close-fitting and extending over the skirt to the hips or below.”

  • Thanks Preston – that helps. I love the close fitting tunics I think and the length above is perfect, but I’d love one with sleeves as I know longer wear sleeveless. As Caroline said, let us know what you find.

  • I have bought a couple of tunics-black and off-white from Lela Rose. Fit and fabric are beautiful. Very nice basics.
