  • I have not even glanced at a loafer – tod’s, gucci, prada, even “sleeker” manolos – you name it – NOTHING, in literally 20 years because if when I have been convinced to “give it a try” aka “been sold”, I have found them too masculine, too much “shoe”, and frankly, I think they make female feet too large – unless one is a size 6 (and I am not). I have been a lanvin ballet flat girl since I discovered them – and I have yet to find another ballet flat that compares for my world. Sorry, chloe, etc.. This new gucci version, however, is absolutely worth a shot.

  • I love, love loafers, but then I am drawn to the slightly masculine vibe in clothing. These, I would wear with dresses.

  • if you like loafers, run, don’t walk, to get these. they are so perfect and I love love love mine! slightly more feminine than their traditional horse bit version.
