The Loveliest Lip

I love the makeup in this Costume magazine story–just  a hint of color.

  • Oh, yes, this is lovely. Especially the last picture-perfect! Did they mention the color in the photo credits?

  • Love the natural look. Does anyone know a lipstick shade similar?
    Thanks

  • SO pretty, lovely face – I have freckles, too, but never think about them, so great to not try to cover them. Perfectly natural hair and makeup – truly “no make-up” makeup! Would love to get this technique down for my own life!

  • So natural and beautiful.

  • Isn’t that just the natural beauty of youth?

  • Wanted to add something. I think the natural/no makeup look works so well here (and everywhere) with a groomed and strongish eyebrow, as in these photos. You sort of don’t notice it, but it holds the face together.

  • She is so pretty, and I love her make-up, not sure I could pull it off though !

  • I wish that most articles would list the lipstick color cause they are so elusive. When you see one that’s brilliant it would be great to know the name.

  • I think Susan is right – it helps to be 20. That being said, this model is adorable, and the fresh faces and more modest clothing we are now seeing everywhere is a welcome change from tarted-up faces, bodies, and clothing of the past decade. I never wore much make up as a young woman, rarely have used foundation, and because no one is used to seeing me that way, I think I can get away with very little makeup even now. At my age, it’s more about skin care, good hair color, and the right lipstick shade.

  • I think it’s just youth and lip balm! She’s got a lovely natural lip color. I have pigmented lips still, but at my advanced age, I need a bit more color in order to look alive!

  • Which designer makes the gorgeous draped coat she is wearing?
    Thx
