On My Mind

Chanel In Courchevel

As I write this post it’s 64° outside and I have the doors and windows wide open. Needless to say, I’m not hankering for a warm-weather getaway—I’d rather go skiing. My older daughter is in Colorado where the slopes are covered in fresh snow; her snaps are taunting me. When I got an email from the Chanel PR team about a CC pop-up boutique in Courchevel, it felt like synchronicity.

  • It’s colder than that in LA! So not used to it, I want to go somewhere warm and beach-y.

  • My pups were panting during our walk in the woods yesterday – crazy – and the long term forecast suggests the rest of the month will clock in at 50 degrees (or higher). I, too, have had the heat off and windows partially open to keep the fresh air circulating and I haven’t worn anything heavier than a lightweight coat or trench over featherweight sweaters with ballerina flats! I’m with Preston – yearning to hit the Rockies for some powder days, but my next vacation is to the Caribbean and it’s too late to cancel!
Not sure when I’ll have the chance to pull out my purchases for winter…!

  • I’m with you, Tabitha. Thankfully, I only bought a short wool coat this year, and I’ve worn it to death.
