On My Mind

Thinking About Spring

For some reason, I don’t have a spring wish list of items that I’ve been excitedly awaiting since they came down the runways last September. However, there are a few things that I have my eye on. The Céline hoops and black trench, a tan trench, and the Gucci loafer slides (without fur) are all under consideration.

  • Those loafers are to die for. I also ordered a pair ( without fur). The fur ones are not for me but I admit they have definitely grown on me. They look very chic with the right outfit. I’m too short for the long trench but I love that too! Both colors. And the earrings are beautiful. Where to purchase Celine if you don’t live in nyc and buy most online?

  • Love the color palette in your collage and all great picks. Wish Celine would cave in and sell online!

  • The blonde bone hoops are gorgeous! A black trench is timeless and elegant; I wear mine frequently for many different occasions. The slides, not really a fan with or without fur. Agree with Kathy about the color palatte.

  • These are great picks — simple, elegant, and a nice contrast to the chaotic spring looks. I’m buying very little this season but wanted you to know that I’m still wearing and loving the Kendall Conrad hoops I heard about on this site!

  • What a great edit! Proof that modern and chic can also be sensible. Unless it’s a party dress or a drop dead handbag, I choose sensible over trend every time. The shapes of all pieces are completely modern and updated. The Gucci slides are much better minus the fur, but I would substitute one of their chunkier loafers instead. This scenario would travel almost anywhere, too!

  • Love this simple but very chic look. Who makes the tan trench and black pants on the right? Love them.
