Gucci FW16 Collection

New Loafers To Love

The Gucci FW16 show was presented a few moments ago and it was packed with accessories. When I spied these block-heel loafers with a kiltie and horsebit, my heart skipped a beat. I wear the GG Marmont in both brown and black all the time.

  • I love these! I wear my Marmont in brown often too, but still feel like the logo is a bit conspicuous. I love the horse bit on these. Gucci is really so good right now isn’t it.

  • Preston, you just made my day! I’ve been hoping for the kiltie/horsebit combo but have new shoe-itis and was just about to order the tomato red Marmont. But, I’ll wait patiently for a few more months.

I’m with Kathy, Gucci’s audacity is really fabulous!

  • Wearing my Marmonts in taupe suede right now, and was thinking maybe I wanted a pair in black. Now I know I’m holding out for these!

  • I haven’t come across these shoes before and thought on first glance they were similar to the Russell and Bromley style loafers.
What I enjoyed about the ones you reference is the sense of drama with the gold signature logo “keys” and the dramatic and overly extended tassel covers.
